| Egg yolk I read it's really good for dogs coats if you give them egg yolks. She loves it so I was wondering if it's ok to give her 1 soft boiled egg yolk a week |

| I would spread it out more, like a tiny bit a day instead of one whole yolk in one day. Plus I would cook it all the way, don't want to risk salmonella poisoning. But then again, I only give Uni the whites and on occasion only.

| You can give it soft boiled, that's fine - as long as your dogs are healthy, they will have no problem. Salmonilla doesn't affect dogs like it will humans, their digestive systems are different, you don't have to worry about that unless your dog is somehow immune system compromized. Word of warning though - if your dog has a sensative tummy, a raw or soft boiled egg can cause some diarrhea if they're not used to it, so start out with just a little bit, especially for a Yorkie. I can give my Beagle a whole raw egg on her food and she'll be perfectly fine, but Alice I would only give maybe less than half.

| Shouldn't be a problem unless there is a sensitivity to fat or the food being fed already is high in fat. Soft boiled should be fine.

| If it's egg yolk it's fine. I even give my whelping girls a beaten egg yolk with Goat's milk, right after they have pups. No, uncooked egg white...that will cause diarreah.
