| New Buddy! Hi Everyone! I am new to this forum and just got my little "casanova" or 'cas' yesterday. I currently have a male LC chihuahua (6 mo) "chaplin" and now a 8 week old male yorkie. I was curious if anyone had suggestions for which food is best for this new puppy. My chi is currently eating taste of the wild (NO GRAIN) because he has allergies The breeder has the puppy on "Diamond" puppy and I have read HORRIBLE reviews of this so I want to switch him as soon as I can. He really hates to eat his diamond food and has been sneaking and eating chaplin's taste of the wild and seem to LOVE it. The only reason I am worried is that the kibble is kinda large for a puppy, but he seems to be eating it (when he sneaks to chaplin's bowl). The taste of the wild food has 32% protein, 18% fat, and 3% fiber. Do you guys think that I could just let the new puppy eat this too? On the bag it says that it is for "all life stages". I looked and the TOTW brand does not have a puppy formula yet. Chaplin has been on this since he was about 3-3.5 mo old. (He was on so many different foods trying to pinpoint his allergies). Anyway, if any of you have suggestions if the TOTW food would be ok for both of them or have suggestions on what food to purchase for the puppy I would greatly appreciate it. |

YT Addict | Hello and Welcome! When se got Teddi in November our breeder was feeding Eukanuba Small Breed dry. He is on Wellness Just for Puppy and loves it!! We also use the Wellness just for puppy treats as well as Blue Buffalo training treats. He is crazy about all of them. We mix Just for Puppy dry in with the wet. Hope this helps! ♥
