| Chlorpheniramine (antihistamine) Our pollen count here has been beyond extremely high (3301 today) and Ian was having difficulty being outside for any period of time. He was constantly sneezing, and a lot of his sneezes were really hard. I had taken him to the vet last week, and was given this med to help him. He takes 1/2 tablet (wrapped in cheese) every 12 hours, and he is doing sooo much better. He hardly sneezes at all now, and if he does, it's just a little one. I still wipe him down from head to toe after his walks, but he is breathing 100% better. This med doesn't make him sleepy or lethargic. (Benadryl didn't help him at all, plus it is on recall.) Thought I would share.

Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | Excellent news!!!! Allergies are so awful, and so tough to treat. I can't tell you how thrilled I am for you, that you found something that gives him relief. Wonderful .
