| Not Urinating Shadow is a 9 month old female. She has not urinated for almost 24 hrs. At first I thought she might have gone somewhere else, but we cannot find and spots in the house. She is eating and drinking. What could possibly cause this? When should I worry? |

| Is she squating and it isn't coming out or you haven't seen her try at all? I imagine it's somewhere and you just haven't found it or she will go very soon. If it really has been 24 hours, it would be time to ask the vet what they want to do. If she is squating and nothing is coming out you'll have to go to the ER unless your vet is still open.

| I agree, if she has not urinated in 24 hours, a trip to vet tonight is necessary.

| She's not trying at all. She's acting normally otherwise. |

| You need to get this pup to the vet right away do not hesitate prolonging the problem can cause big problems. Like the other poster said if she is squatting but nothing coming out then it's urinary tract infection (Most Likely) if she is not even trying this is a dangerous thing to leave. Both things need medical attention right away

| There is nothing wrong with a little drama when it concerns your furbabys health. I would rather see people be overly concerned than not concerned enough. Yea for pee pee!
