| Pet Insurance Hello Everyone, I wanted to get pet insurance for my almost 6 years old Yorkie. But with so many choices out there, I can't decide on the best option. Please help with suggestions. Thank you! |

Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | I have PetPlan for Pfeiffer and I've had really good interactions with them. I wish I'd gotten it for Wylie and Marcel, but it wouldn't really benefit them now (best if you get it when puppies so that they have no pre-existing conditions). Some people have not had good experiences with PetPlan, but I guess that happens with all insurance companies...? Others here have different ins plans and have had good experiences with them too.

| I have trupanion and love them they were very quick paying my claim for Chloe HGE of $1284.00. But I think they are better for people who just got a new puppy. The sooner you get it the better because preexisting conditions are not covered. As it is I wish I got it before I even took them in for their first wellness check. |

| Check out the insurance "sticky" on YT. I have Embrace for Dori and have no complaints. Not sure what coverage would look like for an older pooch.
