| Nature's Variety Instinct Hi there, I feed my dog the Nature's Variety Instinct Chicken and change the canned food weekly (usually from Merrick Five Star) but she hasn't been eating it very much, I think she doesn't like the Instinct Chicken. My first question is, is it bad to change the can formula weekly? Second question, I am thinking of switching her to Solid Just Gold Just a Wee Bit, has anyone given this to their Yorkies? Thanks! |

| I would personally prefer NV Instinct over Solid Gold. But both are good foods. I fed NV Instinct for a while. Their whole philosophy is that rotation is a good thing, that's why it's called Natures Variety. Jackson did not like the chicken either and I've heard a lot of dogs don't. I rotated between their rabbit and duck & turkey meal formula. I now feed Orijen and Acana, but I do still use NV Instinct canned foods.

Senior Yorkie Talker | I have my Yorkie on the Duck And Turkey Meal. I think she likes the bigger kibble. So sad. :/ I worked hard for that food. Or maybe she just needs more time to adjust. |
