Donating Senior Yorkie Talker | I think that it is, Some say that raw is better for their teeth ( which I think it is) some say that kibble is, other think that dog today should not eat raw.. Point is you are going to get alot of different answers.. The only reason that I don't feed Izzy only raw is because we travel during the summer alot and i want to be able to carry her food with us. I use Orijen because I feel it's the next best thing...we have tried using freezer dried stuff that you add water too.. I believe it's honest kitchen.. and she just looked at it like.. " what is that"?...She's very picky..lol

| Totally agree ^^^. I really don't think any kibble is going to be equivalent to raw, really. But I feel like I am feeding the next best thing, though he does get pre-made raw a few times a week. Convenience is a main reason for not feeding it full-time, but also cost.

| IMO, it's not the same as feeding raw but (I believe)that it IS the best kibble available. In my mind, fresh unprocessed foods are better for dogs than any sorts of kibbles. If I were going to feed kibble again, I would use Orijen. I see the progression like this (fresh) Raw > Freeze dried Raw (like ziwipeak) or prepared frozen raw > dehydrated foods (like Honest Kitchen > Good, quality kibble (Orijen or other similar types) > Mid-level kibble (such as Blue Buffalo) > all other kibble This is just my opinion. Yours may vary |
