Ok thats good I just wondered because a few things didnt add up.

He is adorable!!...I'm getting a new baby too, little boy and he is the same age as your baby his DOB is Sept 19, 2010 and he has all his teeth in, he weights 2.2 lbs...I have 3 more weeks before I get him...the breeder would never let him ago before 12 weeks...I'm going tomorrow to visit him, taking some toys and his bed and banket so when I do get to bring him home his bed and banket and the toys will smell like Mom and his littermates, making him more comfortable in his new home.

Now that sounds like a great idea! :] i wish i had thought of something like that when i got him. I know hes a little young which made extremely sad. We ended up switching him for one of his half brothers who is a lot smaller than him but older by a few weeks. He's handling his new home very well and eating just great. A parti-carrier usually refers to dog that looks all regular Yorkie but one of the parents were a parti. This pup has white feet. I would like to have one of the parti-color yorkie breeders on here comment as I am not familiar with this pattern showing up. I guess it doesn't matter so much if you are just getting a pet. But this is one reason I am not real pro-Parti -- too many breeders are calling almost anything Parti and you have to wonder about the breeding history. I think some are just using the term to cover when the female gets with more than one dog during heat. If you look at say Greens Treasured Yorkies -- she has some absolutely beautiful Parti-Colors. Then you can see what differences I am talking about.

Can this "parti" group of dogs been AKC reg.?

Are you also saying that the breeder had a second set of pups to choose from that were only a few weeks older?

Is that common for breeders to do litters so close together?

Regardless of the questions I have above, I hope you have yourself a healthy puppy that you will have years of love and happiness with. Altho in the long run I still wonder what caused the other puppies growth oddities and if they are just a slight window into problems to come in the future. For his sake I hope not.

The lady who we bought her from said she was 8 weeks old and gave us vaccine papers and said she was already eating dry puppy food ... but my baby don't have all of her teeth yet ... she only has 4 teeth out like the 2 on the top left and right side and bottom left and right side... her front top teeth are finally coming out you can barely seem them. So I am not feeding her dry food ... We got her puppy milk from the store and that's what we are feeding her with a bottle until she's ready for dry puppy food . However on her 5 pm feeding we do feed her just a little wet food and her reg puppy milk ... hope this helps ....-fr[/COLOR]
