A parti-carrier usually refers to dog that looks all regular Yorkie but one of the parents were a parti. This pup has white feet. I would like to have one of the parti-color yorkie breeders on here comment as I am not familiar with this pattern showing up. I guess it doesn't matter so much if you are just getting a pet. But this is one reason I am not real pro-Parti -- too many breeders are calling almost anything Parti and you have to wonder about the breeding history. I think some are just using the term to cover when the female gets with more than one dog during heat. If you look at say Greens Treasured Yorkies -- she has some absolutely beautiful Parti-Colors. Then you can see what differences I am talking about. |
