| rabies question i just bought my casper about two weeks ago now but i am having some trouble getting his rabies certificate and shot record from the previous owner (duh i should have got that when i bought him, but he was so cute i had to have him right then) she said he was up to date on all shots but i have to have the rebies certificate to register him. he is 7 months old and i am goingh to consult the vet but does anyone know if it would safe to have him re-vaccinated if i don't get his records? thanks |

| Can you find out the name of the vet Casper went to before? The vet will probably provide you with shot record or fax it over to your new vet. I wouldn't advise an extra rabies shot. Some of these little ones struggle with one dose. good luck. |

| You definately need to find his previous records. I also definately don't advise getting him re-vaccinated a second time.. This is always hard on them and can sometimes w/ poor reactions even be deadly. With Harley I had his shots all given seperately between time spans of 2 weeks. Your breeder should be more than willing to get you his paper work..
