| I began scheduled feeding. I had a problem with Jackson not eating enough-- plus I just wanted to know when he was eating for potty times, and so I could know if he is not feeling well (I know he's not if he won't eat). Anyways, he is 15lbs and eats 1/2 cup per day of Acana Grasslands, mixed with wet food. 1/4 cup in AM and 1/4 cup in PM. I would assume your littlest would get around 1/4 cup per day but don't quote me on that.

| I schedule feed my 10lb-er eats 1/2 cup he only eats once a day. My 5lb eats 1/4 cup once a day. Most people split this up in morning and night but mine wont eat dinner if I give them breakfast. |

| I recently (within the last month) switched from free feeding to scheduled feeding. Levi and I moved into a new apartment with my brother and his dog, and since the move, Levi has basically wanted to eat nonstop. I knew about how much he would eat per day (when I free fed, I always measured his food in the morning and then measured at night to see how much he ate). This gave me a good baseline for how much he had self-regulated to eating every day. Levi currently weighs about 6 pounds and eats about 1/4 cup of Orijen per day, usually split into 2 meals. He gets about 1/8 cup in the morning and 1/8 cup at night. If he is especially active or acts especially hungry, he might eat another 1/8 serving. Occasionally, I will mix in about a tablespoon of wet food (Wellness Core). He also gets a few treats throughout the day.
