| Purina Busy Chewnola Treat Just picked one of these up for Piper and she's gaga over it. I love that it has layers so it keeps her busy for a while. She's been working on it a good 20 minutes or so and still has a bit of the outer oatmeal layer to go Anyone else tried these? |

| Wow... a thread that was never responded to.... I came here to look up these treats and get others opinions of them. Well I have to say my dogs love them. I am wondering how good/bad they are for them but yeah, they are like your baby, nuts over them! They are messy though, I have to gate them in the kitchen with the linoleum floor for these!

| Personally, I'm not really a fan of any Purina products so I wouldn't give them to my dog. Then again, I know many people that go above and beyond to feed what they feel is the best food possible, but then give their dog what some would call "low quality" treats. I don't think there's anything wrong with giving treats that may be on the lower end of the list as long as you're feeding a good quality food. I'm just a "food nut" and prefer to feed my dog all natural treats, most if not all that are made in the usa as well. |

| Callie and my moms yorkie Sammy LOVE the chewnolas. The only problem I have with them is sometimes they get there beard really full of crumbs and sometimes the floor as well.

| With any treat or bone and even dog food if not supervised something can go wrong whether they swallow a big piece or eat to fast its all about supervision. A lot of people give there dog a bone when they go out or to work to keep the dog busy and that is just not a good idea.

| I am not a fan of the idea of leaving a puppy or really any dog with a bone or edible chew just because it would be like leaving a baby or a small child alone with food or anything really since they could put anything in their mouth. Its just not a good a idea. |

| Hans enjoys several types of treats. In the morning we place 3 small tricky trainer by cloud star treats and 1 buddy biscuit into his treat dispenser. This usually keeps him busy for a few minutes. At night when we are watching television he naws on a small/medium size deer antler, this helps keep his teeth and gums healthy. The antler is a clean chew. It dosen't stain, smell or break apart. An added benefit is the calcium and minerals it provides. Once the antler gets to small we throw it out and replace with a new one, about every 6 mths. He is never alone with any of the treats. | I have seen these but we haven't tried them as yet. My baby shakes his head NO at most treats that I buy, except for Milo's Kitchen Chicken Sausages and Jerkey. He LOVES THEM. So I hesitate to try anything else as it just gets given away. That gets expensive. |

| We get ours from the local dog boutique type stores. Never seen them at Petco or PetSmart. Here is a link for a search I did on google: deer antlers for dogs - Google Search Some can be expensive for a treat but when you consider how long they last its a bargain! |
