| What haven't we used would be the better question! Our dogs love Fromm, but it's terrible on their eyes. We bought trial size bags of Acana & Taste of the wild recently and they like the Acana. The taste of the wild isn't as big of a hit! We are using Trippett mixed in, which they LOVE, but it smells so bad!

| the brand for green tripe is "tripett" or solid gold green tripe. dogs go crazy for it. so u can add a bit to entice her appetite. welness and blue bufallo comes in dry or wet food; depends what u want to feed. any new food you feed will tend to give loose stool as it's new to the body. just introduce a little at a time. my dog goes on the pad too; and if i take her for a walk will go out too. but she prefers to go on the pad.

Sounds like you have been through enough food tests yourself? I heard Orijen and Acana are good. Does the trippett give your dogs the runs?

I have never heard of trippett until now....guess I better give it a try and hope it doesnt give her the mushy poops! I have been on the science diet for almost 2 months now and she still get the runs...but also eat bugs outside faster than we can grab her! What dry food do you use? And her being only 10 months old, should I use an all stages dry food or puppy?

Wysong offers Epigen <http://www.wysong.net/products/epigen.php> T, which is the first ever Starch FreeT kibble. You may be interested in reading our article on Starch Free <http://www.wysongepigen.net/Epigen%20Flyer.pdf> T vs. "Grain Free." Dry kibble pet foods that claim to be "Grain Free" actually have an inferior starch substitute such as potato, peas, or tapioca. In spite of marketing efforts that would have you believe otherwise, Grain Free diets do not contain more meat, nor are they more natural or more akin to what dogs and cats eat in the wild. Grain Free products have only removed grains in favor of other starch ingredients. Taking out the more nutritious wheat, rice, and other "grain" ingredients and replacing them with potato, tapioca, peas and the like doesn't actually make the diet any more natural or genetically appropriate. Think about it. are potato and tapioca any more natural to canines and felines than wheat, corn, and brown rice? Do wild cats and dogs forage for potatoes and roam far and wide in search of tapioca and peas? Of course not. The underlying issue -- which is that carnivores are not designed to consume a constant diet of starch -- remains unaddressed.
