| Teeth Cleaning & Pulled Tooth Bouncer has to get his his teeth cleaned Monday and one tooth pulled. Needless to say I've never put him under anethesia before and I'm scared to death! I've heard so many horror stories of little dogs and anethesia. Any advice for a worry-wart momma?

| Ask the breeder if they have experience with anesthesia for small dogs before. The main thing is they don't overdo the anesthesia since your Yorkie is so tiny. It is scary, but sometimes we really need to have the vet put them under anesthesia for procedures, Yoda's gone under a couple of times. While we hear a lot about the worst-case scenarios, the truth is thousands and thousands of Yorkies get anesthesia on a monthly basis with no problems. So maybe think positive? And just be there for your Yorkie afterwards. |

| Thanks for the advice! I'm trusting this is a vet and she should know what she's doing, but I'm still a bit nervous. lol Heaven forbid I ever have kids if I'm this bad over my Bounce!
