I just switched Taycie to the Honest Kitchen and we LOVE IT! She gets so excited when I am mixing up her food! I am feeding her Thrive right now because she is a puppy only 7 months old. It is high in fat at 20 percent... Should i look at a different formula or do you think this level is ok for a 7 month old? The honest kitchen actually emailed me and also advised i switch once she hits a yr because of the high fat content and also because she is a yorkie and yorkie's are prone to pancreatitis. when I recieved this email I started to get nervous.. Do you think this is safe level of fat or should I start switching it up? | |

| To be honest I was sprinkling Italian cheese on the puppy's food because they were not eating at all. They don't like kibble even though I mixed it with wet food. Now they are eating Health Extension without the cheese. They still wont eat kibble though. |

| I think Royal Canine is really aweful. But then again I feel that way about any big corp/large production kiddle producers. I use Acana, Great Life, Lotus, Life's Abund., and GO! Natural, Fromms is ok but not the best ... MUCH BETTER THAN RC thou! I used to recommend Blue Buffalo over many other large corp pet supply store foods. Use warm water to release more aroma from the food. at 10 weeks his teeth should be fine for kibble, especially now that he's more than 10 weeks. Good luck |
