The honest kitchen actually emailed me and also advised i switch once she hits a yr because of the high fat content and also because she is a yorkie and yorkie's are prone to pancreatitis. when I recieved this email I started to get nervous.. Do you think this is safe level of fat or should I start switching it up?
I believe for puppies it is ok. the higher protien and fat contents are good for puppies and nursing mommies. At about 12 months, I'd switch her over to a lower fat one. Like I said, the "preference" one you can put in your own low fat meat and switch it up every now and then and they won't get bored.
