YT Addict | ![]() I don't want to gross anyone out but guess what is in commercial hamburger? And bologna? I learned to drive a truck hauling livestock. A company that is a national powerhouse and has most of our school lunch programs contracts killed bulls & cows. Cattle become cows when they have birthed 2 calves. But as the big chains also go it is beef from NOSE TO TAIL. If you have someone who suffers gout you already know about the organ meet into commerical hamburger can really take them down. Anyway didn't mean to get off base but yes. In chicken nuggets there are beaks and claw meet. Hot dogs, is truly beyond vulgar. My family showed world champion cattle and that arena can be a hard reality. My brother in law has hauled livestock in the past that were delivered at specific times because the meet grader was different than others and typically would tank the animal rather than pass it. So I can see where the thought of the bullies is appauling but stop and think what many of us have eatent today. Mary & Mia |

YT Addict | ![]() On a quick note on hot dogs, please be cautious about how many you eat, my hubby had colon cancer & that was the 1 food they have linked to colon cancer. For those of you who have not done so please get a colonoscopy! This is a cancer that can be very silent, when caught early success is almost guaranteed! We got lucky and 5 years later he is still with me claiming he doesn't worship Mia.... Yeah right guess who is home feeding her a tuna cracker! |

| ![]() Could be 'cuz Yorkies think they are big dogs in little bodies, anyway. or could be bully envy...or could be... But, yeah, size does matter, cause the long ones last longer, sorry but it's physics when it comes to FOOD. and that gives you a fighting chance to get it away from them, I steal and throw out at 3-4 inches.

| ![]() I thought Prince would like bully sticks, but because of his CT, his vet advises against them, and any type of long chew products. Does it break off in pieces? I'm not going to risk trying them, but was just curious.

![]() I've never seen a bully stick break off in pieces in any way. Jackson just chews them and they get shorter as he keeps chewing away, lol. I always take them away when they get down to about 2".

| ![]() We get Bull wrinkles, they come in unscented, and the dogs don't notice the difference, they are the tendons from the cows leg, the ones I get are about 14" long, two pieces twisted together, and I cut them into 4" bits, and untwist. They love them!!!

| ![]() LOL at you wussie girls.... For goodness sakes it is food or a treat. The dogs love them and I mean LOVE them. I also buy them in the 100 lot and my dogs tap dance for them. If you don't like what they are then don't chew on them ![]() I bought the ones that are odorless or as I say less stinky but the dogs did prefer the stinky ones more so the next order will be the full stinky ones. My babies eat a little wet food once a day and it stinks too. It also has lots of parts of animals in it. Let the little furbutts have their bully sticks.. ![]() |

| ![]() No choking hazard? They sound like an interesting product. Never heard of them. Love the name. My girls love to treat each other's back legs like turkey legs, chase each other down and gnaw on their legs, this could be a healthier alternative...LOL

| ![]() I went an ordered 4 bully sticks for my dog and 3 puppies after reading all the post. All they ever had was nyla bones. They came today and they do love them and they haven't stopped chewing on them yet and it has been over an hour! The 6" stick is bigger then my tiny Charm but she won't let the bigger girl's Chloe and Claire near hers grrrrrrr. I still think it is yucky. It big day for Charm she turned 13 weeks and got her first hair bow. I just had to add a picture she looks so cute |
