| Jackson also had Lymes. We discovered it when he came about limping for no reason (so we thought). He was put on antibiotics for a month and cleared up right away. The vet asked about Lymes vaccination, but didn't push it. I don't feel comfortable giving the vaccine to him personally.

| I have read that the side effects of the vaccination can be worse than the actual disease. I also have a silkie terrier that I'm suppose to start with the lyme disease vaccination..my vet is pushing this vaccination...I live in an area that has a problem with ticks... Has Jackson been tested for lyme disease since her antibiotic treatment? I read dogs can become reinfected... |
