Any home remedies for non-cancerous growth? My nine-year old female Yorkie has a growth on her shoulder. It started out quite small like a pimple, but has turned into an ugly looking mole about a quarter of an inch in diameter (pretty big for this little girl. Our vet has looked at it and assures us that it is not malignant. He said he would remove it, but by doing that, it would bleed a lot and then after time, would return. I noticed that she is starting to grow another behind her ear. I was wondering if there are any home topical remedies I could try to help reduce these growths. Any suggestions? Thanks.

Many many years ago I had rescued an elderly bichon who suffered from a very large amount of small non-malignant tumors. She was a bumpy girl but we loved her. It wasn't pretty, but it never harmed her and removing the 100-200 growths wouldn't have been fair to her. If there is a way to help reduce them or prevent them we never found one for her. I've heard that reducing sugar effect cell growth for tumors but when it comes to dogs I don't know how much that's really going to help. Unfortunately this is one of those things you have to just adjust to, or remove (especially as time goes on in reference to size.)

Our almost 12 year old Yorkie has them also but the vet said that the "bumps" are not malignant.

Thanks for your replies. I've been searching the Internet for answers to my concern about Puddin's moles. It seems that applying Apple Cidar Vinegar removes moles after a week or so (on humans). I'm just wondering if ACV could have any harmful effects on canines. I'm not sure I want to try this on her. Has anyone ever heard of this remedy?

| Did he do a biopsy? Thats the only way he would know its not malignant. It is concerning that its growing. Im not trying to scare you but I would get a second opinion if you are just going by his opinion that it is not malignant
