| You might want to check out the food rating chart. If I remember correctly Eukanuba wasn't exactly one of the better foods out there. Also, if you do decide to change food, remember to do it gradually or your pup may get sick. I think every dog has their amount set. But if your pup eats so fast that it looks like she inhaled the food, she might need little more? Or you could give her some snacks in between the meal like: little cut pieces of carrots, cucumber, etc.. I think Magnus was fed 3 times a day when he was 5 months with water out at all times. |

| I free feed my 2 girls. They eat Wellness super 5mix , and are pee and poo pad trained . They are not overweight by free feeding, and know when to stop eating when full. They are both healthy and strong too.

| I want to change Shelldenae' food. At present I give her Eukanuba 1-12months. Any suggestions of a good food? She turnes a year Jan.25 and I don't want to give her wet food am I selfish? Its easier for me to just pick it up and I have carpet so when she does make a mistake its a no brainer.. |

| everything I've ever read anywhere (books/web) says puppies should always have access to water. I would ask my vet about only offering it to her 4 times a day it just seems wrong. |

| ♥Trained by my pups♥ Donating YT 500 Club Member | I free feed and have water out all the time for all my dogs Even my puppies from about 3 and half weeks on. I have never had problems with anyone over eating. They learn from the start the food is always there and no reason to worry about when they will get it next. I make sure the people taking my pups home know this is how i have started them. It works well for my gang of dogs. I have heard that some dogs will over eat i just have not had that problem. And I have four adult dogs and they all do well with the free feeding. Good luck |

| I agree with the 2 to 4 feeding times, depending on age. But I do believe water should be allowed all the time. Puppies tend to play hard and crash hard, they dehydrate fast, so allowing them access to water at all times is really a good idea. For potty training, just means you have to take her to potty often |

| yes i feed her twice a day now. i have notice she eats around 10:30am and 5:30pm I now leave her water to drink out all day. I have no issues with her using the training pad so she is doing very good thus far. |
