Donating YT 1000 Club Member | Is this product used after the professional cleaning, to avoid plaque build up, or can it be used on regular basis as a cleaner?

| The first app is usually done under anesthesia after a cleaning then it is applied weekly by owner.

| he is very good - he did demi and dee dee and dee dee only lost 5 teeth the tiny ones on side that have small roots. She was 5 at her first dental though. I was scared to put them under and dex is next He is very sharp though and i met with two dentists and i felt the most comfortable with him. I go to animal dermatology in marina del rey as well and the dermatologist has her cats teeth cleaned by him and dr dodds highly recommends him as well as kathy from houndstooth. Everyone i have met that knows him speaks very highly of him. His tech is very sharp too. I was trying to save demi teeth after being loose but best to get them out as the other dentist wanted to bone pack and all this crazy stuff stitching gums and i was like WTH so he gets them out if they are bad. He will not use nsaids as says they are not safe and he does not over use antibiotics. He does the safest for the dogs Last edited by dwerten; 05-27-2010 at 07:13 AM. |

| I was the same, I wasn't diligent about it. Jackson was a year before I started brushing his teeth... he's gotten a lil' better. Luckily, his teeth are pretty shiny white. There was one little spot that was a green-ish color on his tooth that I couldn't scrape off, so I sprayed Petzlife and it was gone within 2 days. But the easiest way I've found to brush his teeth is when he's in the bath, he gets bathed usually once a week so that's pretty much how often we've been brushing his teeth, so it's a start.

| Nikki is 4 years old. We've tried to brush her teeth ever since she was born but she didn't like the brush moving back and forth so 6 months ago I decided to try a tiny cordless brush that spins. I put on lots of toothpaste which she has always liked the taste of and it worked. She only tolerated it for 20 seconds but I gave her a treat anyway. I give her a treat after every brushing. Now the brushing has stretched to over 2 minutes and she gets excited when I ask her if she wants her teeth brushed. Every 3 or 4 weekl she even lets me use a dental pick to get any plaque that might have built up in hard to reach areas. |
