| ![]() Actually, this thread reminds me of why I stopped using eye/washes/rinses... too easy to get mixed up with the contact solution and I really got tired of reading the labels, which I recommend you do, as companies can change formulas quite frequently. And the bottles are too big. Thimerisol(sp), if I recall correctly, is one ingredient you want to avoid. I now use any kind of 'Natural tears' products, bc many times a stray hair or foreign object may cause the eye to become drier than usual overnight, and I feel the Natural Tears are somewhat lubricating and soothing, and I just use more drops to rinse the eye with. And the tiny bottles are so much easier to handle, esp if you have a dog or two that really doesn't understand that you're trying to help them... or wigglebutts in general... ![]() PS: No Visine, or anything to 'get the red out' and, yes, I do test on myself first.

| ![]() I use Eye Wash by Bausch and Lomb and TheraTears (preservative free) for Maddie. She has to use these daily and we have had no prombems with either. ![]() |
