| What to feed to stop the runs?? Ruby just started getting the runs. I was wondering what i could feed her to bind her up a little? Like with people you can eat bananas, you know what i mean?! I know she's not sick but she's just reacting to a new treat i bought. |

| My breeder gave me something called Biosol. It is really used in cattle but for a puppy she said to give only 3-4 drops morning and night. I must say I used it once and it worked GREAT! May want to ask your vet before using of course..don't just take my word for it! LOL

| If it doesn't improve in 24 hours go to the vet. They have more powerful meds that are really safe. Loki gets sick from new treats too so this is what I was told to do by my vet. (We don't buy new treats any more!) Feed boiled/baked chicken breast and rice (mostly rice at first). Pepto bismol is safe for dogs to try but call your vet for the dosage. Give LOTS of water so that she does not get dehydrated. *Slowly* reintroduce dog food over a couple of days. Good luck!!!

| Kaolin Pectin is a good one....shredded wheat or oats (oatmeal) is another good one. There is also a hollistic treatment you can get from Eagle Pack that I haven't had to use yet, but I know it's supposed to be good that I got from Waggin' Tails. http://www.waggintails.com/store/Dis...p?sku=EANS-001

| You should try boiled chicken and rice, or rice with his regular food. Maybe even rice water (not too much). I would lay low on the treats, and if he's chewing on rawhide, take it away! That made my Thunder really sick. |

| The next day She was fine. I guess the treats just had to pass through her system. I feed them both cottage cheese every day so that helped too. But i wrote all of those ideas down for the future. |
