I dont think I have ever heard of Fromm, do you have a link to a website with more info? What exactly is the reason that high protein is not as good? Just curious. Thanks.

Fromm Family Foods - Gourmet Pet Food, Naturally Holistic It's not that it's not as good and I think this is excellent food. I'm just a little worried about possible kidney/liver problems. They don't have any conditions now, but I think we are just going to see how the Fromm works. I would probably be trying Acana which is higher than Fromm but less than Orijen, but can't find in our area.

Heres another sorta Update on Regional Red. I still havent switched her over to anything else yet, she has still been eating a bit of Royal Canin mixed mostly with the Orijen, noticed in the last couple of days, runny frequent stools. Not really happy about that, but still haven't decided what food will be her definite fit just yet. We are almost all out of the Orijen sample I picked up, so still clueless, but I wanted to give that bit of an update about the "poop" for others who are interested in this food. Thanks.

I use Orijen in Sasha's rotation diet. I haven't used the regional red flavor yet but I've used the 6 fish formula. She did very well on it. Every dog reacts differently to the high protein grain free foods. For some dogs it's just too rich for them. Some dogs it takes a bit longer of a transition period especially when coming from a lower grade food.
