| I've been using Vet-Solutions for years. Since my 2nd yorkie developed a yeast infection. I've since begun grooming and exhibiting....I use it on my clients dogs too. Since I began using (per vet recommendations), I've never had another ear problem with any of my dogs. You can purchase it through revivalanimal.com, but Amazon.com has better prices for large quantities...and I go through it pretty fast.

You will get wax build up from time to time. As long it isn't smelly and dark colored, it's normal.

| Glad it's working for you. I by no means am recommending this product over products that are being used by other members. Just making sure that they are aware that any cleaner they use should have a drying agent and an acidifier. As I didn't and provoked the yeast infection in my girl. I failed to have the hair from her ear canals removed and was only using a cleaner and not realizing a drying agent was necessary.

The scratching could be caused by something other than ear wax. It could be itchy puppy hair, or it could be food allergies, or it could be infection. You may want to ask your vet to take a look at your pup's ears. How old is your puppy? Do the ears smell funky or show any signs of discoloration, dark discharge, or hair loss? Does your pup shake his/her head and paw at the ears? | |

| My Tiny Treasures Donating Member | I have been using ProductDetail ( Life's Abundance Ear Care Formula) from Life's Abundance for 2 years now with great success! its very easy to use and I clean the ears at bath time and I have had ZERO issues since switching to it. It doesn't have a bad odor AND it can be used on cats as well. Cleans then VERY well. Last edited by Breny; 05-31-2010 at 09:57 PM. |
