| Advice on ear cleaning products I want to clean out Ellie's ears but I'm concerned about what kind of product I should use. Does anyone have any suggestions or can they share their experiences? I think she may have another bout of ear mites or something because she keeps shaking her head and I don't know what it is from, her ear canals didn't look too terrible but there is some wax build-up. She just got her ears cleaned out for mites about 4 weeks ago when i first got her and took her to get vet checked. She's on revolution but i don't know if its working. My main concern is using the proper product for yorkies and I don't want her to get an ear infection because I'm not caring for her ears properly. Thanks!! |

| We use Vet Solutions Ear Cleansing Solution. My vet recommended it when we first got Chloe and we bought an 8 oz bottle. I usually use it once every two weeks and we've had Chloe for about 10 months. I've still got most of the bottle left because it takes so little. It's really easy for me to put in Chloe's ears. At first, I had my husband hold her still but now I just do it myself. It definitely has seemed to help her. Her ears never bother her and I've not noticed any wax build up since we started it. -C

Donating YT 1000 Club Member | We use Malacetic, we've never had a problem, and it lasts , also use the make up remover pads( round) to clean up and dry their ears. We use it after every bath

| Thanks for sharing! I was looking at maybe using Epi-otic or Earoxide by the manufacturers of Nutri-cal. Has anyone had any experience with those products? |

| We used Chlorhexiderm Flush but company got into some trouble with the FDA (part of it was QC issues). I ordered Epi-Otic....hated the smell. After one use, it sits here taking up space. Now we are Nolva Cleanse. When she gets a yeast infection, we use Otomax/Momentamax.

| We use Vet Solutions Ear Cleansing Solution after each bath. I got it on Amazon. There was a discussion before here at YT and it was recommended so I got some. Love it. Use it on our cat too. She really has wax issues and this works great for her s long as remember to do it since she does not get baths often.

Donating YT 4000 Club Member | I've always used Vet's Solution on my dogs. It worked wonders on my Golden.

Well, actually it's probably yeast most of the time, but her vet says she does have a bit of wax in one (which is okay/good to a certain extent).

| We use Vet Solutions too. I'm not crazy about the scent, but the product is very effective and has a nice drying agent, unlike some of the other ear cleaners we have tried. |
