| I have been looking through old threads and reading what I can to decide what kind of dog food to use. The breeder was feeding my pups Diamond so I kept them on it. They seem to be doing fine on it and their poops are fine. Calvin's eyes were bad for a while but seem to have gotten better. I am looking to transition them but am so confused about all the types of dog food out there. My vet said that I could transition them to Royal Canin and that would be fine. When I looked it up on the dog food analysis it was only rated a #2. I dont know the difference between the high protein, etc. My vet did say that because of the type of dog they are that they really dont need a high protein food like a bigger dog would. I am so confused!!!! Also, Calvin's coat is kind of dull and it looks like he has dandruff. I was also told that I could give them yogurt and that should help with their coat? See how confused I am...lol! |
