| Has anyone used C.T.E. The vet said it would be good for Roscos bad breath and plague. It is an oral hygiene rinse. I just squirt a little in his mouth. She said it was safe. Anyone used this before?

| The vet said it was something new. They have the one you put in water, but this one you just squirt in mouth.

| Yes, we use CET toothpaste and like it. The rinse is good as far as I know. The water additive contains xylitol, so I would definitely avoid that.

| Thanks, I am going to check out the ingredients on the oral rinse and make sure it doesn''t have xylitol as well.

| The C.E.T. Aqua dent (which is the stuff that you put in the water) made Shelby & Seymour sick. My vet also recommended it and like a dummy I didn't check out the ingredients first. They had it once.... and that was enough. Here they are: Ingredients: Purified water, Glycerine, Xylitol, Polysorbate 20, Potassium sorbate, Emilgase (enzyme), Zinc gluconate, Sodium benzoate, FD&C Blue No. 1, FD&C Yellow No. 5 and Chlorhexidine gluconate. I do not recommend it.

| It causes severe fluctuations in blood sugar/hypoglycemia. And if they get through that, then liver failure can follow anyway. Very toxic to dogs.
