Has anyone used C.T.E. The vet said it would be good for Roscos bad breath and plague. It is an oral hygiene rinse. I just squirt a little in his mouth. She said it was safe. Anyone used this before? |
I use C.E.T in their drinking water, I add 2 teaspoons to 1 quart water. My vet recommended it. |
The vet said it was something new. They have the one you put in water, but this one you just squirt in mouth. |
Yes, we use CET toothpaste and like it. The rinse is good as far as I know. The water additive contains xylitol, so I would definitely avoid that. |

I use the CET toothpaste, but have never tried to liquid you squirt in the mouth. |
I checked out CET website and the oral does not have xylitol. |
The C.E.T. Aqua dent (which is the stuff that you put in the water) made Shelby & Seymour sick. My vet also recommended it and like a dummy I didn't check out the ingredients first. They had it once.... and that was enough. Here they are: Ingredients: Purified water, Glycerine, Xylitol, Polysorbate 20, Potassium sorbate, Emilgase (enzyme), Zinc gluconate, Sodium benzoate, FD&C Blue No. 1, FD&C Yellow No. 5 and Chlorhexidine gluconate. I do not recommend it. |
we used to use the CET toothpaste but Oliver got a sensitive tummy after years of use... |
why is xylitol bad  |

And if they get through that, then liver failure can follow anyway. Very toxic to dogs. |
