| Hello and Welcome to YT! I am sorry I have never used this product. I have seen some say it works great and others say it don't work. From my understanding in is some sort of antibiotic so you pup needs to be a certain age before using. I am not sure I hope others will come on and let you know more |

I used it on my show boy a few months ago and it worked very well. Within a week his eyes stopped getting so "gunky". I would definitely recommend trying it.

Donating YT 500 Club Member | It does contain an antibiotic. Here is a thread where other members are discussing this product. http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/yor...ngel-eyes.html

| I would check for dry eye in your dog before doing anything...It is a simple test done by your vet and does not hurt. You could be doing more harm to your dog if your little one has dry eye. Here is another article on tylosin which is what Angele Eyes is made from... Tylosin

You are abselutaly right it is mostly liver... there is a treat called Pure Bites and they sell it with dryed freeze beef liver and it helps alot for that as well... it is only 1 ingredient "beef Liver" so no bi-products or artificial flavors, etc. it is very good treats to help for tear stain thats for sure!! oh and FYI they are NOT hard at all very easy to cut up... I use them as training treats and cut them up in very small pieces

| In our doggie play-date group we all decided to buy the Angel Eyes for our Maltese and my Bichon foster. That made 5 white dogs with the stain problem. Well it didn't work for any of us. I think it's just another money making product that doesn't have to answer to government regulations!

Donating Senior Yorkie Talker | I LOVE Angel Eyes. I have used it for years on my Malt. But since Tylosin is the active ingredient.....I'd like to know where I can buy Tylosin. Not only has Angel Eyes worked like a miracle.....it has also worked for everyone I know that uses it. But it's just like everything else.....ask 10 different people and you'll get 10 different answer. If anyone knows if just giving Tylosin works and where to buy it, please PM me. Please! |

| I used it on my Cassie (the shih tzu) and it worked like a charm. I didn't even keep her on it for as long as the bottle recommended. Her problem hasn't returned at all! |

| I've heard good things about it, but it can falsely elevate liver enzymes and it is a low dose antibiotic. So the question becomes, if you ever need to use tylosin, how well is it going to work? I know sometimes the staining gets so bad that a product like this is necessary. I'd just weigh the pros and cons first...

I am not a fan of using antibiotics for cosmetic purposes as when you need them for health issues they may not work and ibd runs in this breed and tylan powder used for ibd dogs as the lowest antibiotic so i would not chance it Have you tried Tear Stain Remover | The Safe and Effective solution for Cats and Dogs by Eye Envy also make sure to use bottled spring water for drinking | |

| tear stains I won't use Angel Eyes because why give an antibiotic if not needed. I use Eye Envy on Belle and it works quite well. I also use a very warm wash cloth in the mornings and clean her eye area with that, then use the Eye Envy in the afternoon or evening. Belle is a Morkie and has a white face. |
