| It's not really high enough to be another shunt, but it's not low enough to ignore and not worry about either. It could have been the gallbladder, but I wouldn't want to assume that in a case like this, esp. after the band was used. B/c he was negative for MVD and b/c the number was down to 2, I don't think it's that... I would definitely be retesting shortly to make sure it isn't getting any higher.

| Have you heard of the band failing? They told me in Oradell that not every pup is a candidate for the ameroid constrictor. Maybe they were full of it?!

| have you checked on the liver shunt group on yahoogroups.com as i have not heard of the cellophane being used and maybe someone on there might know better - my gut is still gall bladder contraction but definitely retest to confirm |
