| Yes. It is dairy. Some, if not most are lactose intolerant, but a teaspoon of cottage cheese has never upset most tummies. I've never seen one that didn't like it, but there are some...such as Twinkie above.

| Lucy had a touch of diarrhea over the week-end and I called her Vet who said to give her a little bit of cottage cheese; then a little bit of chicken and white rice throughout the week-end. She like the cottage cheese; but I wondered about the lactose intolerant thing too. So far; so good! |

| My two love cottage cheese. I give it to them every once in a while for a treat. I read once (I think, on this board) that it is good for gas too.

| Over the years I have had three doxies and one cocker. The vet told me when they were not feeling well to give a small amount of cottage cheese, boiled hamb. and cooked rice. My dogs loved it. However; our new Dr. of several years now has never heard of the cottage cheese bit.
