| Yep, it's an everyday occurrence at my house too. Twinkie is so picky. I have never had a dog like this before. Leave it to Yorkies! |

| I home cook, so all three of my Yorkettes faces never come out of their bowl till every crumb is gone........BUT, my Papillon, well now there's another story!! She takes a bite or two, leaves, goes and sits down awhile, comes back and takes another bite and leaves. This keeps up till she's finished.

| Mine and my friends Yorkies both do this. We were just talking about it the other day. How funny is that. I think they are worried they might miss something if they stick to the bowl too long, ha. |

| This is one of the characteristics of a yorkie. They love to be with you while they eat or in the main area with everyone else. Also don't be surprise if they play with their food - toss it up in the air and go after it (that is the dry food). I love it! I would not want to change this. |

| My Bailey does it as well. The funny thing is if you spill some food on the floor she will not eat it. She has to be the one to take it out of the bowl and place it on the floor.

| June does this when I feed kibble. She'd pick up one piece of kibble and walk all the way from the kitchen to the living room, chew the kibble for about 5 seconds and then walk back again. My parents' staffie also does this, but she takes a mouthful and then walks all the way to the other side of the yard to eat it. She spits the kibble out onto the grass, lies down on the grass as if she was enjoying a leisurely feast and then a little while later she does it all over again. Too strange. Cash is the only one who plays with his food and only with big cookies. I love watching him do this, it's so cute.
