June does this when I feed kibble. She'd pick up one piece of kibble and walk all the way from the kitchen to the living room, chew the kibble for about 5 seconds and then walk back again.
My parents' staffie also does this, but she takes a mouthful and then walks all the way to the other side of the yard to eat it. She spits the kibble out onto the grass, lies down on the grass as if she was enjoying a leisurely feast and then a little while later she does it all over again. Too strange.
Cash is the only one who plays with his food and only with big cookies. I love watching him do this, it's so cute.
