| Do you have carpeting? Fleas multiply like rabbits . . .Fleas have four main stages in their life cycle: egg, larva, pupa, and adult. The total flea life cycle can range from a couple weeks to several months, depending on environmental conditions. Flea eggs fall off of the animal into the carpet, bedding, floorboards, and soil. When the flea egg hatches varies -- anywhere from two days to a few weeks, depending on environmental conditions. The larva emerges from the egg using a chitin tooth, a hard spine on the top of the head that disappears as the flea matures. So, if you have carpeting, it probably is why you keep finding fleas. Also, I don't know much about resolution, but Frontline Plus works well for mine. Good luck, we only had fleas once when we lived in our condo back in 1987 and they came from the previous owner. I had an exterminator come out and then we actually removed all the carpeting and replaced it.

| Great advice. Frontline or Advantage. If you have an ongoing flea problem Advantage would be best in the beginning. It works faster to kill the fleas. You will also need to treat the environment. Good luck.

Yorkie Yakker | Frontline Plus If you don't use the "Plus" version you're not killing the eggs. It only kills the adult fleas & ticks. Also bathe your dog first then apply. If bathe you're dog afterward you're diluting the medicine and it's not as effective. I heard "Sentinel" is effective too, but not sure if it wks after your dog gets fleas. Good Luck! Oh and you should browse the YT forum for the natural apple cider vinegar & water solution for flea prevention. |

| There's also a pill that immediately kills any flea on them. There is this white powder you can put in your bedding and carpet and their beds that you can actually leave in there and it will kill the fleas and even the larvae. I believe it's called diaccotomous earth. I got it when we had a false-alarm. You might want to switch to Frontline, so far it's been very effective Good luck in the flea battle |
