There's also a pill that immediately kills any flea on them. There is this white powder you can put in your bedding and carpet and their beds that you can actually leave in there and it will kill the fleas and even the larvae. I believe it's called diaccotomous earth. I got it when we had a false-alarm. You might want to switch to Frontline, so far it's been very effective
