| Hi - we have Darwin on a low protein food and use "Go Natural". Our vet explained that because of the issue with liver shunts in Yorkies, low protein is more suitable. We have our Great Pyrenees on Orijen and he's thriving on it. I think a lower protein sounds better but I am definitely not an expert on dog foods. Good luck! |

Yorkie Yakker | My 60lb Jindo loves the Original Adult and Senior versions of Orijen, but my Yorkie could careless. He'd rather eat Royal Canine, Science Diet, or Natural Balance Turkey roll shavings mixed in with his food. The Red might be too much protein for little dogs. The only thing I don't like about Orijen is the strong fish smell. |
