| Fromm's Surf & Turf anyone? Does anyone think that Fromm's surf and turf is appropriate for a 6 1/2 month old puppy? I'm looking for a grain free diet that is lower in protein in hopes to lessen my pup's number of poops per day. With 2 feedings per day, she can poop 3 or 4 times per day. I'm trying to keep her poops consistent with her feedings; 2 times per day. Is this reasonable or unrealistic?

| I don't really have an answer to your questions, sorry. But, I've also been looking for a grain-free food that's lower in protein. This one was recommended to me this week and I like the looks of it (protein is only 26%-27%, and the fat is only 17%). I have not tried it yet to be able to recommend it, but I thought it might be something for you to look into. I'm going to go pick up a bag to try next week. NOW! Grain Free Pet Food

Judging from my 2 boys, pooping 3-4 times a day at that age is normal. You might have to wait until your pup is a little older to hope for getting the schedule down to 2 times per day. I think it also depends on the size of your dog. | |

yeah...that's kinda what I thought but I'm still hoping the diet might help some. That's the lowest protein source in a grain free kibble I've found.

| I switched mine to that from Taste of the Wild and they really like it and I have been happy with it. It seems to be a very high quality food which makes me happy.

| My guys love the Fromm too. They don't have any special dietary needs, so they eat the Chicken a la Veg. We use our Surf and Turf and other Fromm samples for training treats. |
