| sneezing and coughing Hello, i have a question my dog had blood in his stool so i took him to the vet they said he had colitis so he had to stay for 4 days, well when he got home he started sneezing alot and acting like he was trying to get something out of his throat but nothing would come up so i called my vet and was told to give my baby some robintussin 1 and a half cc 3 times a day does that sound okay i thought it might be too much for him? my baby is 11 months he is a male yorkie named Gucci |

| Welcome to YT ! Usually doses are given based on the weight of the dog and usually in cc/ or ml measurements. Without knowing the weight of the dog it would be hard to say if it is correct, however if the vet has given it as a dosage, and you do have questions, call him back and ask. Usually they are accustomed to concerned owners calling back. Please keep us updated on how he is! |
