Welcome to YT ! Usually doses are given based on the weight of the dog and usually in cc/ or ml measurements. Without knowing the weight of the dog it would be hard to say if it is correct, however if the vet has given it as a dosage, and you do have questions, call him back and ask. Usually they are accustomed to concerned owners calling back.
