My Yorkie's baby teeth don't seem to be falling out like they should

Hi TaylorWoods and all, Gio is 11 months old. His front teeth and bottom fell out at about 4 to 6 months. The upper and bottom canines are still there, only one on the bottom have fallen out. I will give it a couple months more. I will also buy a rope tomorrow. Hopefully this will work.....

When Mandy's teeth were 'shark' looking I was talking to a friend about her two legged child's teeth. She had talked to her dentist about her son's teeth not falling out. The dentist told her straight up to have her son wiggle his teeth. I gave Mandy lots of chew toys and even did a little wiggling for her. This worked beautifully.

It just worries me that they aren't even slightly loose. Like I said, her incissors fell out so easily and now she has 2 canines next toe ach other and others have grown underneath so hopefully they will push the baby ones out.

I'm not having her spayed just yet and wanted to let her have a litter when she's 2 years old so if they don't fall out on their own I guess she will have to visit the vet.

You do know having her spayed before her first heat can prevent and lessen her risk of certain cancers and illnesses right?

Mine still has her fangs and looks like a piranah. I would love for those 4 teeth to fall out,she is 11 1/2 months old. She has stuff to chew on every evening. Maybe there is hope.

Did you get her fixed? I'm surprised they didn't advise you to have them pulled at the time she was fixed, if she is.

They will not fall out if there is nothing to push them out. IIRC my vet mentioned something about risk of infection and some other side effects. It was only like $10 per tooth while under the anesthesia.
