| My Lucy really only likes Purina Puppy Chow as well. I am trying to get her to switch over to Wellness. I break up the Wellness pieces really small and mix them in with her Purina until I get her weaned off of it. I'll put some cooked carrots on there to entice her. IF I mix in the Wellness canned (salmon) - she will eat the Wellness dry food without having to add the Purina. You might try mixing. BUT if your yorkie is a puppy and not eating . . I would feed her what she will eat even if it's not the greatest food for now. Once you get her eating and she is older - you can switch her off to a quality adult food. Good Luck! Picky eaters are hard. |

| me to Castor Pollux is just particular, has been from the beginning. His breeder (the ex mom) gave him wet dry food. He's 9 months! and he would rather eat his dry food wet. I made him eat the dry kibble (eukenuba) with the food game. I throw a piece (tiny pieces) and predator instinct takes over and he chases the piece, once he gets it, he eats it. Thats the only way he eats it dry. He perfers it wet. He kicks the water bottle at me when i pour it dry (its too cute so I wet it) Try a little water on the dry food. Doing that is also give and take, he loves it, but I have to get his teeth cleaned more often, like when his breath gets bad i take him to the vet |
