| bully bones, how often? How often do yall give your babies bully bones? I buy the 12" ones because I have a teapot and even though at first it seems a little big it turns manageable pretty quickly plus someone normally holds it for her and it lasts about 2 days sometimes 3. But I was wondering if the same day they finish one do you give them another one or do you wait a day or a few days?

| Daisy will eat a 5" Bully Stick in about 20-30 minutes. I give them for a special occasion or when we go somewhere and I want her to sit quietly or once in awhile when she is bored. She has a small piece of a Himalayan Dog Chew that she carries around all the time and hides, but only chews on occasionally. Each dog is different. That is just what we do.

| Jackson's a 12lber and I just leave a 12" stick out until it's about 2" or so. They're usually always available to him. They last us about a week but he chews them in spirts... one day he won't chew them at all, the next he will chew like crazy. We either get the Merrick ones or the ones from Pet Valu. He also has a Himlaylan chew out all the time and they last us a LONG time, like a month or so. We order the medium size.

I ♥ Joey & Ralphie! Donating Member | Joey has a stick available at all times, but we use the Merrick brand and they are very hard, I think of it more of a chewing stick/bone, rather than a treat. His last a whole week, and he chews at least one hour every night, because I hold it for him, so I know! If your dog is chewing it in one day, it's probably the softer kind, and that's a lot of extra calories in one day.
