| My yorkie shivers on and off my yorkie is 2 months old and i've had him for 3 days now. first day he was kind of mellow, 2nd day, he was very playful. today was the first day i had to leave him for about 8 hours because i had to work. i got home and checked on him right away and he seemed fine. i picked him up and played with him for a few minutes. moments later, he just started shivering on and off. could it be because i stressed him out from playing? i only played with him for 10 mins bec i was told not to play with him longer than that. and plus, bec he's only a puppy, they're supposed to sleep a lot. he doesn't shiver when he sleeps though... |

| My sister got 2 new yorkies and one shivers randomly. I am not sure what it's about. I think maybe nerves, she does seem a little timid. Other than that i'm not sure what could be the problem. Your little one may just be cold. =]

Senior Yorkie Talker | He could be a little nervous or cold. I am thinking cold since he doesn't do it in his sleep. Our bassid hound used to shake in his sleep and he had a bad case of the nerves! Best of luck!

| Jax use to shake a little bit on & off too. Lots of times in the early morning after getting out of a warm bed so it was probably shivering but he's also a big bundle of nerves so he would shake when he was getting stressed over something. He has grown out of it now. But do keep an eye on him & make sure he is eating.

| Roxie shivers when she is cold or when she is stressed. Sometimes she looks like she is just going to pop.

| As he is only 8 weeks old and just removed from his mom and littermates I would think he is cold. maybe get a T-shirt for him to wear in the house till he gets a bit older...
