| I am on Yorkie #3, and all three of them got the itchies if they ate poultry products! I am feeding Nutro puppy lamb & rice, and also I got the Missing Link supplement product. Wosie has been getting Missing Link for less than a week, and I have already noticed her coat is getting shiny and softer! That stuff is GREAT! She is also much less itchy since I switched her from what her breeder was feeding to the Nutro. Yippee! Good luck!

| Besides food and outdoor allergies, have you changed Lexi's shampoo/conditioner? Carter and Cooper have been much better since I switched their food to Innova and their shampoo/conditioner to Plush Puppy. We also use Missing Link. Carter's coat is much more healthy than before as well -- that could be a combination of all 3 products.

| about Malaseb shampoo. My one boy had the itchies from the day I got him, no fleas, mites, just itchy dry skin, after two skin infections and a solid month on meds, we now use this shampoo. It has let his bald spots fill in and he does not scratch to distraction. You also can buy this online, it is not cheap though, $20+ for a very small 8 ounce bottle. Good luck |

| Malaseb definitely helps Penny. She has some severe allergy issues - paw chewing, extra-goopy and watery eyes, excessive itching, pustules, etc. She's had problems with colitis, too, which her vet said very well could be related to her allergies. She gets children's Benadryl 2x a day, 2ml each dose. This summer it made a huge impact; her symptoms are increasing a bit now but I think it's the seasonal change as even I'm having allergy issues. We were told Benadryl only works 50% of the time so we got lucky with her. When winter sets in, I'm going to try taking her off of it so she's not on it year round. Anyway, she was on antibiotics twice (2 different kinds) for the pustules. What finally cleared them up was the Malaseb. She has a few spots around her ears and throat now again so she's getting medicated bath tomorrow. Hope you get your baby to feeling better. It's awful to watch them scratch all the time! |

Good advice. I had the same problem. I had to change foods and use Omega 3 on his food when he was itching

| Hey has the itchiness stopped? The tea tree oil treatment is part of my dogs' grooming ordeal. It is supposed to be good for itchy, dry skin. It's usually extra- $7.00 at Jake's Dog House where I take them, but well worth it. The liquid children's benadryl dosage goes by weight- u can check with the pharmacist even. Apparently they are use to dog owners asking them questions! Good luck with the little one! The only thing better than owning a yorkie is owning 2 yorkies! |

| I'm having the same trouble with Boodah. Itchy feet and backside, no fleas and he WILL not eat any Lamb and Rice Food Gracie will adjust to any food I give her, Royal Canin, Authority Lamb and Rice, Wellness, but not Boodah, I just this week-end switched to Chicken Soup, but have to add canned food to eat for Boodah to eat .The Vet gave me a steroidal/antibiotic ointment to try and of coarse wanted me to switch to a Lamb/Rice food.......but this boy is having nothin to do with Lamb!!!!!!!!! So Frustrating |
