Besides food and outdoor allergies, have you changed Lexi's shampoo/conditioner?
Carter and Cooper have been much better since I switched their food to Innova and their shampoo/conditioner to Plush Puppy. We also use Missing Link.
Carter's coat is much more healthy than before as well -- that could be a combination of all 3 products.
