| Homemade diet for Liver disease? Anyone have a homemade diet recipe for babies with High Bile acid panels? I have been giving her Hills Prescription Diet but she is not eating it the best. I have been giving her sweet potatoes, cottage cheese and carrots- but would like a recipe if anyone has- thanks

| Thanks for the reply. I have been mixing the soft and dry but she isn't interested- she would rather get into my golden's food.

| If you are looking to home cook for your pup- my best advice is to seek out a dog nutritonist. Your dogs has very very specific needs and even if someone on YT was home cooking for a liver dog- you couldn't just apply this to your dog as the calorie need may be different. Home cooking is great- but can be overwhelming when you start. To make sure your dog is getting the proper K/cals and calcium/phosophrus ratio as well as the needed protein levels, your best bet is a nutritionist. |

| have you tried baking the canned? I know that will entice them to eat. Or mixing a little bit of cottage cheese or yogurt with the dry?
