when do a yorkie puppy's ears fully go up??

how do you tape their ears up and with what kind of tape do you use???

Chewie was around 5 months when his ears stood up, it happened after we sent him to the groomer because they shaved his ear. I never thought that so little hair could weigh down the ear so much

First, you should make sure the top third of the ears are shaved down. Then using gauze and masking tape the ears lengthwise so they are standing up kind of folded. Leave this on for a day or two and then check to see if they are standing on their own. If they are standing leave untapped as long as they stand on their own. If they go floppy again then do the process over.

CoCo is 17 weeks now and her ears just went up on their own. I had them shaved down a few weeks ago but yeasterday they went up and stayed up. Woohooo.
