| If I remember correctly, I believe garlic is alright in certain amounts. I don't know how well it does at keeping fleas and ticks away but it sure does help the skin and coat. For example we give our border collie mix the brewers yeast tablets. Her hair is so soft and shiny. But if we don't give it to her, her hair becomes dry and she starts shedding a lot. The difference it makes for her is amazing.

| I've been giving my dog Brewers Yeast and Garlic for 2 years now, every day. Never had a problem with fleas and I'm in South Florida. It's much cheaper then the spot on treatments. I use the ones from NaturVet. |

| I remember on an episode of Victoria's show that she was cooking up something for one of the dogs and she used lots of garlic, and I remember her saying "Dogs love garlic" then I came here and saw that it was toxic so now I'm confused. I guess if our pups have TOO MUCH of it, then it's dangerous?
