RAW and Bacteria worries

To the OP.

I use the same precautions I use when preparing our food. I do re-bag when I get a new bag. I put 3 or 4 days worth in small ziploc bags, and place all those small bags in larger bags. I get out a small bag, put it in a pyrex dish in the veggie bin to thaw and use. I use the clorax hard surface cleaner to wipe down everything. And wash hands!!

I don't worry about feces in the yard, cause Bonnie uses a potty pad and she lets me know when she has used the pad. (yea, she still gets a treat ) I pick it up with tissue and flush it. and them of course wash hands very well. I am a hand-washing fanatic.

Thanks all! I have read everything and I think some of the concerns I've read about are just worried folks. So I will handle the food like I handle cooking dinner.

As far as the feces in the yard. I am not going to worry about it. My kids don't go roll in the yard or anything. They are much older than that (11 and 7). So they are way past that. They only thing they actually do is walk through the yard really so I think all is safe.

As far as Izzy going on the porch..yip she does DAILY, but she also still goes in the house too. DRIVES ME CRAZY. Oh well such is life huh?
